Google Search Console for an Anime Learning Site (2026 Checklist)

Submitting a sitemap is step one — not traffic day one. New anime-learning URLs often take days to weeks to show impressions. Use GSC to watch, not to panic.

After sitemap submit

1. Confirm sitemap status is Success (not "Couldn't fetch")
2. Use URL Inspection on 3–5 money pages (home, free extension, Crunchyroll hub)
3. Watch Pages → why URLs are excluded (redirect, soft 404, crawled not indexed)
4. Ignore vanity rankings for 2–4 weeks; ship more internal links instead

What actually moves the needle

• Internal links from hubs to new posts (best anime, blog)
• IndexNow pings after deploy (Bing/Yandex-friendly)
• Honest pages that match search intent — not keyword stuffing
